What our guests should know…
Date: Friday, November 2, 2012
Place: Iron Lakes Country Club
3625 Shankweiler Road
Allentown, PA 18104
Time: 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Entertainment: DJ Freddie Fredericks, Jr. will enhance the festive atmosphere in addition to
juggler(s), balloon artist(s) magician(s) and perhaps a surprise or two!
Attire: Under the Big Top at Masquerade is a fun affair. In keeping with the theme, a costume or a mask is suggested. However, should our guests prefer to forego wearing a costume, we suggest cocktail attire.
Highlights of the Evening: A fun and eventful evening awaits our guests. From the best costume and mask awards to a few fun surprises, this promises to be an evening you will always remember. Should you have any dietary restrictions, please contact Diane Leuthardt at 610-253-5060 or firstname.lastname@example.org as far in advance of the Gala as you can.
Lock Box: This is always something very special and we can’t wait to see your expression when you see what we have in store for you! Take your chances by throwing a dart at a balloon and in the balloon will be a number announcing if you have won one, two or three keys! 75 darts will be available for $50 each or two for $75. Once all of the balloons are popped, our guests will be invited to try their keys until the lock is opened by that one lucky winner.
Heads or Tails: What’s a party without a fun game? Purchase a token for $10.00 or 2 for $15 and during the evening we will be flipping a coin. You must put your hands on either your head or your tail. If you have your hands on the side of coin that comes up you are still in the game – if not you are out unless of course you have a second token. Last person standing wins $150!!!!!
Auctions: Both the live and silent auctions have many fun and unique items this year. Please be prepared to bid high and often!
Send a Kid to Camp: Summer camps are an essential part of childhood. But for the estimated 237,000 children with asthma in Pennsylvania, a regular camp experience may pose serious health risks. The American Lung Association proudly sends kids to camp at no expense to their families so please be sure to “Send a Kid to Camp” by completing the card at your table with your tax deductible donation.
